Allenby Gardens

TRANSFERS. I am going to Allenby Gardens. I am still a Sister Training Leader. My companion is Sister Cheurfang. She's from Taiwan. She goes home this transfer. I am killing another companion. Sister Ami will be my only companion in the mission again in 6 weeks. RIP. 

We take a bus out in 2 hours so this one will be kinda short. 

This week was completely full of miracles. I don't have time to type them all about. But member missionary work is the only way to go!! The mission is on FIRE right now and Sister Ami and I were a huge part of the numbers behind that, I feel really good about leaving it behind!! Sad to go but I knew I had to. 

Also we came into Mildura because of transfers and we got to be apart of their cultural night and i Did my Alice Springs Samoan dance and the real true samoans called me full samoan.. that is the biggest compliment in the world! 

So sorry I'll write more next week.

8:30pm

today was the longest and greatest day of my life. it started out me getting ready for church and the opening. cleaning curlin hair ya know the sunday morning norm. I went to church for an hour and half then went up to SLC with Kylee to watch the worldwide devotional with Elder Uchtdorf and his wife. It was unreal. We got there at 4 the doors opened at 4:30 we ran into cute Brother and Sister Turner and chatted for a little. Then we went in. For some miracle tim got us front row seats. I was literally only behind the family rows and was in shock the whole time. I was so close to Elder Uchtdorf I was honestly star struck. The devotional was great and so spiritually enlightening, but then after it was over Uchtdorf came down in the crowd and was shaking hands and I got to shake his cute wifes hand and touch him. dress shopping

Can i just disclaimer this post with this message: I know it doesn't matter what you're wearing on your mission. But for me when I look good and presentable I am productive and feel confident. If I look like a scrub I act like a scrub. I dress to impress myself not others just to make this clear. I know I'm not the only one with these thoughts, so I thought I'd share. If I'm being honestly one of the biggest and only worries in preparing for my mission was losing a sense of style on the mission. I am fine flying half way across the world, spending time away from loved ones, etc. But this actually worried me, and I feel like this this is worse than school dance dress shopping (cause we all know that's a huge stress in hs) , and slightly less worse than wedding dress shopping (and we all know that this is a huge concern in real life haha). Book of Mormon

Gday (I hope you know no one really says that here)  Thursday was zone conference. And it was all about Baptism and the Book of Mormon the 2 biggest things for missionaries. All transfer (or zone conference to zone conference) we study a topic this time it was baptism. President Marquis randomly (as directed by the spirit) calls on missionaries to talk as we have all prepared a 10 minute talk on it. And what do ya know I got called up. I talked about my baptism the day before the 4th of July and the whole state of Utah was celebrating my baptism with parades and BBQ, and fireworks. Cause it's such a super cool thing to be baptized right? (Well it is but 4th of July was also the next day so...) but it was great, that was my 3rd talk I've given at a zone conference. Maybe my last(?).
